Entisar Tower, also known as Burj Azizi following its rebranding, is a planned supertall skyscraper located in Dubai Meydan City along Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai.
Initially announced in 2012 by Meydan Group, the tower was designed to rise approximately 570 meters (1,870 feet) with around 121 to 122 floors, making it set to become one of the tallest buildings in Dubai and the world.
The mixed-use tower was designed to include residential, commercial, and leisure spaces, featuring serviced apartments, villas, luxury penthouse suites, and a variety of upscale amenities such as pools, gyms, cafes, and business centers. The architectural and interior design was handled by AE7 Associates, aiming for modern elegance and state-of-the-art facilities.
Construction began in 2016 but was halted in 2017 due to a stop-work order related to a payment dispute and broader market conditions that led to delays and temporary abandonment of the project. In 2018, Azizi Developments acquired the stalled project.
The tower was later rebranded as Burj Azizi in January 2024, with plans to resume construction in 2025, aiming to complete its ambitious vision as a landmark development on Dubai's skyline. Despite its construction setbacks, Entisar Tower remains a highly anticipated architectural endeavor and potential Dubai icon as one of the tallest towers after Burj Khalifa.
Its design incorporates advanced engineering features intended to support a luxurious lifestyle with extensive amenities and panoramic city views.
