Saeed bin Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum

Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, born on October 1, 1976, is a member of Dubai’s ruling family, a businessman, equestrian, and former Olympic sport shooter. He is the son of the late Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who served as the Emir of Dubai until his death in 2006, and the nephew of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the current Emir of Dubai and Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates.

Sheikh Saeed has represented the UAE in skeet shooting at multiple Olympic Games, competing in 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012, and 2016, and has won various regional and international shooting championships including the Asian Shooting Championships and the Pan-Arab Games.

Beyond sports, he is an accomplished racehorse owner with horses recognized internationally, including those from the Godolphin stables. He also owns a UAE football club and has sponsored events such as the 1000 Dunes Rally in 2008.

His personal life has seen public attention due to his marriage in 2015 to Azerbaijani former gymnast Zeynab Javadli and their subsequent divorce in 2019, which involved a high-profile custody dispute that reached international forums.
