Jessy Mendiola
Jessy Mendiola, born Jessica Mendiola Tawile on December 3, 1992, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is a well-known Filipino actress. She began her career in the entertainment industry as a child, appearing in TV commercials and taking on minor roles in several soap operas starting at the age of 13.
She rose to prominence after officially joining ABS-CBN’s Star Magic Batch 15 in 2007. Over the years, she gained popularity for her roles in popular television dramas such as "Sabel" (2010), "Budoy" (2011), "Paraiso" (2012), and the Philippine adaptation of "Maria Mercedes" (2013).
She has also built a notable filmography with appearances in movies like "The Reunion" (2012), "Call Center Girl" (2013), "The Trial" (2014), and "The Girl In The Orange Dress" (2018). Her performances have earned her various accolades, including the German Moreno Youth Achievement Award at the 2012 FAMAS Awards and the distinction of being the first Filipino recipient of the Best Asia Pacific Star award at the 5th Asia Pacific Actors Network (APAN) Star Awards in South Korea.
Moreover, she was featured for three consecutive years on TC Candler’s list of the “Most Beautiful Faces in the World” from 2017 to 2019 and was named FHM Philippines' "Sexiest Woman of 2016."
