Ed Jones

Ed Jones, born on February 12, 1995, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is a highly accomplished racing driver with a broad international career in various motorsport disciplines. He began racing in go-karts at the age of four in Dubai, quickly demonstrating his talent and winning multiple championships in the Middle East.

His success in karting led him to compete in Europe, where he participated in series such as Formula Renault and Formula 3, establishing himself as a rising star in open-wheel racing.

He made a significant breakthrough by winning the 2016 Indy Lights Championship with Carlin Motorsport, marking a major milestone in his career. This victory paved the way for his entry into the IndyCar Series in 2017 with Dale Coyne Racing, where he made an immediate impact, finishing third in the Indianapolis 500 as a rookie and earning the title of Rookie of the Year.

Over the following years, he continued competing at a high level in IndyCar, racing for teams such as Chip Ganassi Racing and Ed Carpenter Racing, achieving several podium finishes. In addition to his American racing pursuits, he has also participated in endurance racing, including the FIA World Endurance Championship and the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona, enhancing his reputation in sports car racing.

Throughout his career, he has represented both the UAE and Great Britain, showcasing his versatility and international presence.
