Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum

Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, born on July 12, 1950, in Bur Dubai, is a prominent member of Dubai's ruling family and a key figure in both the emirate's security and business sectors. He is the youngest son of the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum and the youngest brother of the current ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

He graduated from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and began his career in the Dubai military, where he rose to become the Commander in Chief of the Central Military Command, transforming it into one of the leading military bases within the United Arab Emirates.

Beyond his military role, he holds several significant leadership positions in business and sports. He is the Deputy Chairman of Dubai Police and Public Security, reflecting his ongoing influence in maintaining law and order in the emirate.

Sheikh Ahmed is also the Group Chairman of A.R.M. Holding, a major investment company that encompasses various sectors such as real estate, banking, telecommunications, education, food and beverage, and hospitality. Under his leadership, the Dubai Real Estate Centre (DREC) was established in 1991 and has grown to manage thousands of properties across Dubai.

He also chairs Al Wasl FC, a prominent football club based in Dubai, illustrating his interest in sports and community engagement. In 2019, he consolidated his business assets under A.R.M. Holding, aligning them with Dubai's broader economic growth objectives.
