Zayed II Military College

Zayed II Military College, also known as Zayed the Second Military College, is the principal military academy and officer training institution of the United Arab Emirates Army.

It was founded on February 1, 1972, by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding president of the UAE, just two months after the country's formation. The college graduated its first batch of officers on April 10, 1972, and was officially inaugurated on May 3, 1972, by Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Located in Al Ain, the college has played a crucial role in the development and strengthening of the UAE Armed Forces by producing highly trained military and administrative personnel in various disciplines.

Over the past five decades, Zayed II Military College has become one of the oldest and most important military educational institutions in the UAE, embodying the vision of Sheikh Zayed to build a modern and capable military force to protect the nation.

The college is credited with instilling essential values such as loyalty, sacrifice, and dedication among generations of Emirati soldiers.
