Umm Al Quwain University

Umm Al Quwain University (UAQU) is a government higher education institution established in 2012 as the first university in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain, United Arab Emirates. It was initiated through Emirates Canadian University College and elevated to university status under the sponsorship of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, the Ruler of Umm Al Quwain.

The university is situated on Al Mualla Street in Umm Al Quwain and serves as a key academic center for the emirate and the broader UAE region.

UAQU offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, with colleges that include Business Administration, Arts and Science, Mass Communication, and Law.
