LEGOLAND Dubai

LEGOLAND Dubai is a family-oriented theme park located within the Dubai Parks and Resorts complex in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It officially opened on October 31, 2016, and is the first LEGOLAND park in the Middle East, as well as the seventh worldwide.

Originally planned to open as Legoland Dubailand in 2011, the project encountered delays and was subsequently relocated and rebranded within Dubai Parks and Resorts. The park targets families with children aged 2 to 12 and offers a blend of rides, shows, and interactive activities specifically designed for this age group.

The park is divided into six themed lands: Factory, LEGO City, Imagination, Kingdoms, Adventure, and a unique indoor Miniland that showcases over 15,000 miniature models built with approximately 15 million LEGO bricks. Attractions include familiar rides like the Dragon and Dragon’s Apprentice roller coasters, LEGO-themed playgrounds, build-and-play zones, and live entertainment.

Miniland stands out as a signature feature, offering detailed recreations of famous landmarks from Dubai, the UAE, and other parts of the world. The park aims to provide both entertainment and educational value through engaging LEGO building experiences, fostering creativity and learning.

LEGOLAND Dubai is operated by Merlin Entertainments under the ownership of Dubai Parks and Resorts and complements the adjacent LEGOLAND Water Park, which caters specifically to younger children. Together, these parks form a major part of Dubai’s family tourism sector, providing a safe, engaging, and creatively stimulating environment for children and their families.

Its location within Dubai Parks and Resorts allows for easy access to several other notable theme parks, enhancing Dubai’s reputation as a global leisure destination.
