The Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) Dubai Branch is part of the UAE’s largest applied higher education institution, the Higher Colleges of Technology, which was established in 1988 by Federal Law No. 2 under the vision of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan.

It is the oldest and largest federal institution of higher learning in the United Arab Emirates, created to provide practical, technology-focused education that meets the needs of the rapidly developing nation.

The Dubai campus is one of 16 campuses spread across the UAE, offering a wide range of English-taught programs in applied sciences, business, engineering technology, health sciences, and education, all geared toward equipping students with industry-relevant skills and competencies.

HCT is recognized for its innovative, hands-on teaching methodologies and strong emphasis on experiential learning, preparing students to succeed in the global workplace. It is the first higher education institution in the UAE to be designated as an economic free zone, enabling it to engage in commercial partnerships and entrepreneurial initiatives.
