Emirates Academy Of Hospitality Management

The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management (EAHM) was established in 2001 in Dubai as the first homegrown hospitality management university in the Middle East. It was created as part of Dubai’s strategic vision to develop hospitality and tourism into a key economic sector.

A member of the Jumeirah Group and Dubai Holding, which manage world-renowned hotels like the Burj Al Arab and the Madinat Jumeirah complex, EAHM benefits from strong industry connections and practical learning opportunities.

The academy offered undergraduate and postgraduate degrees with a strong focus on experiential learning, including extended internships at leading hotels, preparing students for careers in the global hospitality industry. EAHM was academically associated with École Hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland until 2019 and held accreditations from the UAE Ministry of Education, the Institute of Hospitality in the UK, and THE-ICE in Australia.

The academy’s Bachelor of Business Administration in International Hospitality Management was a three-year degree incorporating real-world placements, while its Master of International Hospitality Management offered a one-year coursework program followed by a research project.

The campus featured modern facilities supporting academic and professional development and fostered a multicultural student body. Over its operational years, EAHM produced many successful hospitality professionals who secured leadership roles globally, contributing significantly to the industry.

Despite its prestigious standing and contributions, the Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management permanently closed in July 2025 after 25 years of service in advancing hospitality education in the Middle East.
