Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club

Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club, established in 1993 and located on the Deira side of Dubai Creek, is one of Dubai’s most iconic and historic golf destinations. It features an 18-hole par 71 championship golf course designed by Karl Litten, spanning around 7,009 yards with undulating fairways, mounds, palm trees, and water hazards that provide a challenging yet scenic golfing experience.

As the site of the first golf academy in the Middle East, the club has played a pivotal role in promoting and developing golf in the region. The golf academy, led by PGA professionals such as those at the Peter Cowen Academy, offers training programs for players of all levels, including juniors and adults.

The clubhouse, designed to resemble a traditional Arabian lateen sail, was created by British architect Brian Johnson, who also designed the Emirates Golf Club. It includes multiple restaurants, function rooms, and a range of hospitality amenities.

Adjacent to the clubhouse is the yacht club building, complementing the golf facilities with waterfront leisure and marina services. The club is surrounded by the luxurious Park Hyatt Hotel and the Dubai Creek Club Residences, adding to its resort appeal. Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club has hosted major events, including the Dubai Desert Classic in the late 1990s and early 2000s, and has welcomed numerous international stars and concerts over the years.

It also serves as a hub for various social and sporting activities, including tennis, swimming, and outdoor events, making it a comprehensive sports and leisure venue. Moreover, the club houses Seawings, Dubai’s only seaplane tour operator, reinforcing its reputation as a premier destination offering both sport and unique experiences.
