Dubai Autodrome

Dubai Autodrome is a premier motorsports circuit located in MotorCity, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Opened in October 2004, it was the first fully-integrated motorsport and entertainment facility in the UAE, designed by Clive Bowen of Apex Circuit Design and developed as part of the Dubai Motor City project.

The Autodrome features an FIA-sanctioned 5.39 km (3.35 miles) circuit with six track configurations, allowing multiple layouts and simultaneous use for different events. It was the first desert-based track designed with modern safety features, including wide asphalt run-off areas and advanced digital surveillance systems enabling real-time incident monitoring.

The venue officially launched with the final round of the LG Super Racing Weekend, hosting top-tier events such as the FIA GT Championship, European Touring Car Championship, and Formula Renault V6 Eurocup.

It also hosted the A1 Grand Prix in 2005 and the Dubai 24 Hour endurance race since 2006, which attracts professional and semi-professional GT and touring car teams from around the world. The Dubai Autodrome holds an FIA Grade 1 license, enabling it to host Formula 1 races, although Abu Dhabi is currently the UAE's F1 venue.

Adjacent to the main circuit is the Dubai Kartdrome, featuring a 1.2 km outdoor karting track and a 600-meter indoor circuit, both equipped for championship-level karting and popular for arrive-and-drive sessions.

The complex also includes extensive facilities such as a race school, business park, retail plaza, VIP hospitality suites, and entertainment amenities. Strategically located near major Dubai landmarks and airports, the Autodrome has become a hub for motorsport enthusiasts and a key component of Dubai's sporting and entertainment culture, combining high-level racing events with broader experiences for visitors and residents.
