Canadian University Dubai

Canadian University Dubai (CUD) is a private university established in 2006 to bring the Canadian education system to Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was initially known as Centennial University of Dubai but later rebranded as Canadian University Dubai to emphasize its independence and strong connections with Canadian institutions such as Centennial College and Athabasca University.

The university's founding vision was to create a meaningful contribution to the UAE’s higher education landscape by offering Canadian-accredited programs with the option for students to transfer to Canadian universities to complete their degrees.

The university offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs across five faculties: Management; Architecture and Interior Design; Communication Arts and Sciences; Engineering, Applied Science and Technology; and Health Sciences and Psychology. Its curriculum combines academic excellence with practical, career-oriented learning, tailored to meet regional and global industry demands.

CUD is licensed by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA). It enjoys recognition from various international professional bodies and maintains articulation agreements with several prestigious Canadian universities, enabling student transfers and joint programs.

Located in Dubai’s vibrant City Walk district, the university features a modern, state-of-the-art campus equipped with laboratories, research facilities, media studios, a learning resource center, and student support services.
