Al-Maktoum Stadium, located in the Oud Metha area of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is a modern multi-purpose sports venue primarily used for football matches. It serves as the home ground for Al Nasr Sports Club, one of the city’s most historic football teams.
The stadium was originally built in the 1970s but underwent significant renovations completed in 2019 to upgrade its facilities and increase its seating capacity to approximately 15,000 spectators. These upgrades were part of Dubai’s preparations to host matches for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup, allowing the stadium to meet international standards set by the Asian Football Confederation.
